ACHIEVEMENTS

Dr Zuria Idura bt Abd.Mokhtar obtained her Degree in Medicine from University Malaysia Sarawak(UNIMAS) 2007, and Dr.Psych from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2017. She is currently hold a post as a psychiatrist in one of the mental institution in East Malaysia and a part-time lecturer at University Malaysia Sarawak(UNIMAS). She also hold WHO Fellowship in Psychosocial Rehabilitation from Yongin Mental Hospital, South Korea, 2016.

She has presented internationally in the international meeting for Implementation of WHO Quality Rights in Asean and Western Pacific Countries, South Korea, 2018 and a representative for the Regional Roundtable Meeting on Amphetamine Type Stimulants(ATS) Use in Kuala Lumpur, 2019. She won Early Carrier Psychiatrist(ECP) Fellowship Award from Ain Shams University, Egypt 2018 and also one of the speaker during 14th Ain Shams International Congress in Psychiatry 2018 in Egypt. She had been invited by the Malaysia Embassy as a speaker for mental health awareness at Dewan Malaysia Abbasiyah Kaherah, Mesir in 2018.

She deeply engaged with NGO activities in providing mental health and psychosocial support particularly in borneo. This mother of twin boys has special interest in Community Mental Health  and Internet Addiction.
